Dayspring Montessori Educational Center came into being in 1995 when Laura Bergeson and Julie Wand formed a partnership and opened the Montessori Elementary School of St. George in a remodeled home on 700 South. In 1998, the school was renamed and moved to its present location on 200 East. Our beautiful St. George campus includes a turn of the century home which adds to the historic ambiance of downtown St. George

In the fall of 2005 Dayspring opened a Cedar City Early Childhood campus. This newly renovated facility also includes a historic home. The campus is located within Gateway Prepatory Academy, an Iron County charter school, at 200 East Thoroughbred Way, in Enoch, Utah. Dayspring remains a separate entity and models that same educational philosophy and dedication to high standards found at the St. George campus.
We have a student body of well over one hundred. Children have every opportunity to reach their fullest potential in our schools. As our graduates extend their experiences to other educational environments, they take with them the love of peace, self-direction and thirst for learning that they gained at Dayspring Montessori.
